Front-end development participation

As a Technology Manager at Visión Total, my role extended beyond traditional managerial duties. I assumed the responsibility of ensuring the quality of software development deliveries from an external group of contractors. Drawing from my strong programming background, I decided to dive into the project hands-on.
My journey began with enhancing and modifying the code developed by the contractors, aligning it with the specific needs of the technology department. Initially, we focused on a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software, where our goal was to introduce an inventory system with equipment traceability. Soon after, we embarked on an ambitious endeavor to create a React-based app in conjunction with Django.
This app facilitated video calls via the open-source application Jitsi. Later, we ventured into building our own React Native app. My contributions included the integration of manual control functions for zoom, brightness, and focus. I also played a pivotal role in crafting custom housings and bases to seamlessly connect smartphones with medical diagnostic equipment.
This project underscores my ability to bridge technology and innovation, ensuring that our solutions met both operational and technological demands.
